MEET CHRIS

Chris Nettles is a lifelong resident of District 8 and the City of Fort Worth. He is currently married to Shakia Nettles and they are the proud parents of four children: Jalen, Christopher Jr. (CJ), Caleb, and the princess Christianna Nettles. He is a family man and believes in devoting his time to his children, business, and community.

He is a graduate from North Crowley High School (class of 2006) where he was the President of his Junior Class and President of F.C.A. “Fellowship of Christian Athletes.” He also attended Dallas Baptist University, studying in Christian Ministries.

Mr. Nettles is a businessman, entrepreneur, and community leader. Since 2014, he has owned and operated his own business, Haven of Purpose Childcare Center. The center provides care, education, nutritious meals, and more to the children they are responsible for. It is a part of Purpose Driven Ministries, where Mr. Nettles is the senior Pastor. For eight years, the ministry has played an active part in the community.
